OUR CLUB
In chess, being on the king’s side means playing with purpose, ambition, and long-term vision.
That philosophy guides everything we do — building strong foundations first, so growth and success naturally follow.
Education First
Our academy was founded with a clear purpose: to help children think better, learn better, and grow with confidence, using chess as the medium. While competitive success is valued, education always comes first. We focus on understanding, discipline, and character before trophies.
Chess teaches children how to plan, make decisions, manage mistakes, and stay focused — skills that extend far beyond the board and into the classroom and everyday life.

Meet Our Founder
Kingside Thinkers Chess Club is led by Heskiel Ndahangwapo, a FIDE Master and three-time Namibia Chess Champion.
With years of national and international competitive experience, Heskiel combines elite-level chess knowledge with a deep understanding of how to teach young learners effectively. His coaching philosophy blends clarity, encouragement, and structure — creating an environment where students feel supported and motivated to improve.
